How do I eat more healthy and lead a more healthy lifestyle? I want improved energy and start working out?

So what does all this translate to exactly.. like for a dinner it could be say, a lean chicken breast, maybe some broccoli, and rice? and breakfast maybe a hard boiled egg? things along those lines? maybe i should go to a dietician to figure out a plan for my particular body?

Go by the food pyramid. You are a guy so you need to consume at least 2000 calories a day. Just read food labels it is a good start! Try to stay under the 2000 calories to see if that doesnt do the trick.

first have dr do a work up. you do not want to start exercising heavily then find out you have a heart murmor or something. lots of high fiber ie: salads, fresh fruit or dried fruit, whole grains. healthy harvest pastas are yummy and have 6grams of fiber per serving. cut down or eliminate high fats like sausage, ham, egg yolks. eat lots of almonds and cashews unsalted is best try them in stir fry.

As someone who tries to eat healthy take it from me. Try to eat a balanced diet. What is that? Well for example fruits and veggies. Not to much sugar. Good protiens (nuts, cheese…). Natural fruit juice (nothing with sweetners, unless it is something like Equal). Lots of water (eight glasses a day). Good exercise does not have to be overdone. Do what you feel you can , don’t push yourself. Also keep a food diary to see what you are eating and check with your doctor for more information. Hope this helps.
